Yoga
A 45 minute mindful and playful workout. We often start with a breath focused movement meditation practice known as the 5 Tibetans. This gives you a powerful yet simple 15 minute self-practice routine to take away (although you are always welcome in class whether you have practiced or not!) We continue with some deep stretching as well as some natural/animal movement through space. There is a fair amount of weight bearing on the arms and hands, which creates a strong and balanced body.

You will be encouraged work with attention, precision and wisdom - this may be to push yourself and explore your edges or if you are feeling more fragile, to drop into greater energetic depths of breath and awareness.

Judo (The Gentle Art) is based around the skills of throwing and holding your opponent. Within the Senior Syllabus there is also Armlocks and Strangles permitted. Our class also aids in balance, self control and focus of the mind and body. Come down at 8pm on Tuesdays to lock horns!

Dynamic Pilates
Build long and lean muscles as you improve your strength and flexibility with a dynamic 45 minute mat based flow. Pilates is a low impact full body workout that is highly beneficial to counter balance the bad postural habits of our daily lives. It can also help enhance any sports practice and is a very good complement to all movement disciplines. Open Level class.
